The MW2 HUD simply shows off more of the screen than Modern Warfare does, making the playing field much more visible during a match. The main difference between the MW2 HUD and the current one is clutter. While the HUD itself does look a little dated, it's still a pretty big improvement over the one currently found in Modern Warfare. A fan of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has created a mock-up of what the game would look like if it featured Modern Warfare 2's HUD, bringing back a little bit of nostalgia for the 2009 classic in the shooter franchise.
